EskoArtwork is partnering with Clemson University’s Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics to create the EskoArtwork Packaging Supply Chain Laboratory. It will combine the synergies of packaging design and graphic communications into the production and distribution manufacturing process.

Ampack Flexibles and Propac Industrial Pty are partnering to bring integrated liquid hot fill packaging systems to North America. The collaboration will also combine Ampac’s Apex 9000 VF films with Propac’s vertical form-fill-seal packaging machines.

MicroGreen Polymers’ innovation in sustainable polymers for food and beverage packaging expands solid-state polymers with billions of microscopic cells in its structure. It reduces weight, increases end-product functionality and allows for more plastic to be developed from fewer resources.

Cloud Packaging Solutions has added direct-fill carton capabilities to its high-speed form-fill-seal services for the food packaging industry. The new line was developed in response to a customer’s need to package the same product in both pouches and cartons.

Sealed Air, with Clemson University, created the Cryovac Flavour Mark Retort Laboratory, a hands-on classroom for studying food packaging. It will be available on a lease arrangement or fee-for-service basis for food processors to create and test products for market distribution.
