Chicago-based MillerCoors is introducing a new 16-ounce Coors Light Silver Bullet Aluminum Pint bottle. Launching Sept. 1, the brand’s new resealable aluminum bottle will be available in time for the start of the National Football League season. The Coors Light Silver Bullet Aluminum Pint features the brand’s signature bottle graphics with thermochromatic ink that changes color when the bottle is cold enough to drink. A “Cold Activation Window” in the secondary packaging uses similar technology to let consumers see that the beer is cold before they buy it. The bottle from Ball Corp., trade-named Alumi-Tek, features a wide mouth for a smooth pour and a resealable cap for added portability. The Silver Bullet Aluminum bottle will be available in 9-packs and 24-pack loose cases.
