Beer can vent increases flow

Molson Coors has introduced beer cans topped with an extra-large aperture with a small channel on one side to help enhance flow.

The “Vented Wide Mouth Can” is an improvement on last year’s wide-mouth can. The point of the channel is to allow drinkers to swig more easily.

Molson Coors introduced the Vented Wide Mouth Can for six- and 12-packs of Coors Light and Coors Banquet on April 15. The tie-in to the deadline for tax returns supported an ad campaign in which beer-drinking taxpayers “vented” their gripes.
