Miller Lite, the top selling brand of SABMiller, is being test-marketed in a reclosable aluminum bottle.

The 16-ounce Alumi-Tek bottle from Ball Corp. is being tested in 19 states in the Midwest and South. It will be sold as a nine-pack, with convenience stores being a primary retail outlet. The test market will last through the end of the year.

“The great taste of Miller Lite gets even better when it’s enjoyed from our new aluminum pint,” says Grant Leech, vice president of marketing for Miller Lite. “This package drinks like a bottle and cools like a can to deliver an invigorating taste experience.”
