In October, Rügenwalder Mühle, Bad Zwischenahn, Germany, launched its newest "Mühlen Würstchen" sausage products in resealable plastic cups.
The durable, clear polypropylene cups are convenient and present an attractive package and feature in-mold labeling (IML) decoration. This makes it even easier to visually distinguish the product from the competition in glass jars or cans in the refrigerated section.
The cups are manufactured in cleanroom conditions by the plastics division, Weidenhammer Plastic Packaging (WPP), of the Weidenhammer Packaging Group.
