Accupac adds new plant

Company doubles capacity and capabilities.

Accupac (www.accupac.com) announces it is doubling its capacity and expanding its capabilities through the addition of an existing facility in Lakewood, NJ. The Lakewood facility has over 25 years of proven liquid contract manufacturing experience and a superior regulatory track-record.

Accupac is a leading liquid contract manufacturer serving Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical and consumer package goods industries.

The addition of the 221,000 square foot facility will allow clients to expand their production with Accupac or use the site for contingency planning.

Accupac will expand its manufacturing offering to include production of ingestibles, large-scale soap and body washes and striped toothpaste.

“Focus on strategic growth in our business over the past three years has uniquely positioned us to offer the best solutions to the liquid contract manufacturing industry,” says Mark Hinkel, VP of sales and marketing for the company. “This expansion allows us to offer more flexibility and capabilities to our clients. And we will continue to provide the best customer service out there.”

The facility will create up to 300 new jobs when fully staffed as projected by Mark Hallett, general manager of Accupac Lakewood.

According to Accupac CEO Paul Alvater, “Our clients are our number one focus. By doubling our capacity, we can meet our client’s growing needs and provide new jobs in the industry. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

The facility is located at 1700 Oak Street in Lakewood, New Jersey. Accupac will maintain its current location in Mainland, Pennsylvania, and its additional warehouse in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.
