The center, in Guangzhou, China, enhances service and support.

One year after opening, theExopack Advanced Coatings(EAC;www.exopackadvancedcoatings.com) complex in Guangzhou, China, is meeting the company’s goals for enhancing service and support for its distributors and manufacturing customers in thriving South China and the region.

As the first EAC distribution center outside the U.S. and U.K., the 10,000-square-foot facility is staffed to process and store the company’s comprehensive line of Diazo Phototool and Artwork Protect Films. In addition to a warehouse, the site includes offices, a laboratory and training center.

“Our Guangzhou facility has fully met our expectations,” says Jeff Jarvis, Global Business Manager for Exopack Advanced Coatings. “We are now positioned to better support distributors and provide the real-time solutions manufacturers and users increasingly expect and depend on.” Vincent Chen, EAC’s Sales and Distribution Manager for China, oversees the Guangzhou location.

Also, David Neal, who as Vice President of Exopack Advanced Coatings directs all his firm’s   global activities, will join Jarvis and Chen at the Suzhou PCB Show. His planned attendance reflects the increasing importance China and Asia play in EAC’s strategy to drive growth with faster, more complete customer services.

Set for May 9 -11 at the Suzhou International Expo Center, the show has grown into one of the most popular events in the region for PCB manufacturing, materials and chemicals and green technology. The event will also showcase PCB test equipment, wet/dry processing technology, multilayer boards, flexible circuitry and SMT electronic assembly.

Jarvis says the Suzhou expo will enable EAC representatives to meet with distributors and better promote its expanding profile as a leading supplier in the rapidly-growing manufacturing region outside Shanghai.
