Charles J. Pfister accepts the role.

TricorBraun(www.tricorbraun.com) has named Charles J. Pfister chief financial officer, according to Keith  J. Strope, company president and chief executive officer. Pfister will be responsible for the firm’s finance, corporate administration and human resource groups. He will be based in the firm’s St. Louis headquarters.       

TricorBraun, with sales of almost $1 billion, is one of North America’s largest providers of jars, bottles and other rigid packaging components.

Prior to joining TricorBraun, he had been senior vice president of finance for Kohl’s Corporation. At Kohl’s, Pfister was responsible for financial planning and analysis as well as the company’s treasury, tax and investor relations departments. He was employed at Kohl’s from 2008 to 2012.

From 2001 to 2008, Pfister was a vice president for The Home Depot and was most recently in charge of corporate financial planning and analysis and indirect procurement.

Pfister graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana, in 1987 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics with an emphasis in accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989.
