Fowler Products(www.fowlerproducts.com), a division of Pro Mach, is celebrating its 60th year in business in 2012. Started in 1952 by Hugh Fowler in the basement of a hardware store in downtown Athens, the company now serves its customers from a 75,000-square-foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing equipment. Its customers include most of the major producers of foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals in the United States. Fowler’s products include capping systems, bottle cleaners, filling systems, and pulsed-light decontamination systems.

From its humble start, Fowler Products is now recognized as one of the premier manufacturers of packaging machinery, along with its three French partners, Andre Zalkin & CIE, Perrier Bottling Systems, and Claranor. Fowler works closely with these three partners to develop new products and services that meet the unique requirements of the U.S marketplace.

Eighty employees cover a wide range of job responsibilities, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, service, and administrative functions. Fowler serves thousands of installations throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
