IoPP names AmeriStar 2011 winners

IoPP AmeriStar 2011 Best of Show Award: The Convertible Clamshell from HAVI Global Solutions

For 2011 AmeriStar awards consideration in North America's most prestigious packaging awards competition, judges evaluated and analyzed more than 100 packages from 17 categories at IoPP Headquarters in Naperville, Ill., on February 10. Judging was based on package innovation, sustainability, protection, economics, performance, and marketing.

Take a look inside the Rochester Mills Production Brewery in Auburn Hills, MI. The facility brews and cans five beer varieties from the Rochester Mills Beer Company. There the beer is made and packaged in 16-ounce cans, bound together in 4-packs and palletized for distribution. We went on a tour of the facility and got an in depth look at the total process.
