Mutli-Conveyor (www.multi-conveyor.com) has become aware that there is a growing concern of dust build-up on plastic belt conveyors. Knowing this is actually an industry wide concern, Multi-Conveyor is being proactive in taking steps to find a solution.

One of those steps is the addition of an AXYZ 5000 CNC Pin Router to their arsenal of fabrication equipment. The router provides a factory finish on all types of wearstrips that they modify for belt support components. The initial tests have already shown improvements on belt surface wear, dust build-up at intermediate transmissions and belt surging.

Streamlining the manufacturing process while improving quality is also key to providing the most efficient and effective product solutions. By integrating an AXYZ 5000 Series CNC Router, Mutli-Conveyor has reduced the manufacture time and increased the efficiency of producing all of our plastic conveyor components.

The new 5000 Series machine bed width allows them to process materials up to 60” wide and lengths up to 120". Besides a myriad of plastics, Multi-Conveyor can easily process sheets of wood, aluminum and other non-ferrous material, giving them greater versatility when producing key components for conveyor systems.
