Multisorb Technologies (www.multisorb.com) is excited to announce its FreshMax® Self-Adhesive Oxygen Absorber has won the prestigious MTP Gold Medal Award. The Gold Medal is one of the most recognizable and prestigious awards at the Polish exhibition. It is awarded by Polagra Food a few weeks prior to the International Trade Fair for Food, so companies can showcase their award winning products during the fair. With more than 500 entrants, only those meeting the statutory criteria and obtaining positive recommendations of the professional jury received this impressive award. The award recognizes modern, innovative products manufactured using world class technologies and is a confirmation of product excellence, according to the Polagra Food’s brochure.
Multisorb will be showcasing this award winning oxygen absorber as well as other active packaging solutions during the Polagra Food’s International Trade Fair for Food, which takes place on September 23-25, 2013, in Poznan, Poland.
The award winning FreshMax Self-Adhesive Oxygen Absorbers are designed to protect moist or semi-moist packaged foods and other products against mold growth, color change, rancidity, and loss of nutritional value. They are adhesive backed and offer a flat, flexible format, with an ultrathin, low-profile design, making them seemingly invisible. The solid format eliminates any concern about loose contaminants coming in contact with the product. This unique solution is ideal for packaged deli meats.
Other products Multisorb will be highlighting are its FreshPax® CR oxygen absorbers as part of its MAPLOX® program for case-ready fresh meat, FreshPax Oxygen Absorbing Packets, and Fresh Card Oxygen Absorbing Cards.
Manufacturers, processors, and retailers alike can benefit from Multisorb’s sorbent solutions. Extending the shelf life of food products allows for greater distribution potential for manufactures and producers. It also means less waste and product mark downs on the retailers’ shelves.
