Precision Color Graphics opens doors to flexible packaging manufacturing subsidiary for customized pre-made pouches

Specialty Packaging Technologies, Inc. (specialtypackagingtechnologies.com), poised to be the leading flexible packaging manufacturer, has officially opened their doors for business. Specialty Packaging Technologies focuses on customized pre-made pouches, including spouted pouches, utilizing the latest innovations and technologies in specialized pouch production equipment from Karlville Development Group.

A strong sales force and other key operational support such as Jeff McVay, operations manager, Gus Romero, plant manager, and Sarah Abercrombie, sales & marketing coordinator, along with flexible packaging pioneers, Tony Cherot and Jane Dirr, lead the Specialty Packaging Technologies’ team, bringing a combined experience of over 150 years.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Jeff and Gus join the Specialty Packaging Technologies team,” says Tony Cherot, president of Specialty Packaging Technologies. “With Jeff’s 20+ years operations management experience, he is a vital component to our business system and how that supports the manufacturing floor. Combined with Gus’ 24 years in flexible packaging manufacturing and supervision experience, and his dedication to developing high quality products, our team is incomparable.”

The specialized pouch production equipment from Karlville places Specialty Packaging Technologies in a position to react quickly and diversely to the market, enabling them to handle a very large marketplace and produce pouches in many different formats.

“We at Karlville are pleased that we were able to be the machine supplier and look forward to assisting SPT to grow in to a major player in pouch converting,” notes Jim Pease, director of pouch division for Karlville Development Group.

Specialty Packaging Technologies’ fully customized pouches provide distinction, style, convenience and added functionality to suit an ever-increasing array of product applications targeting a variety of markets including, but not limited to, consumer product goods, retail food and beverage, personal care and HBA products, pet products, and medical applications.

“With our team’s past experience and our loyal customer base, combined with our parent company’s established customers, we have a distinct advantage in that we are not a start-up operation,” says Cherot. “Add to this our long-standing relationship and support from our primary equipment supplier, Karlville Development Group, we are already quickly becoming a key player in the flexible packaging industry.”
