Bemis Honored with Spirit of Excellence Award by Hormel Foods

For the fourth consecutive year, Bemis North America ( has been honored with the Spirit of Excellence Award by Hormel Foods Corporation. Recipients of the award are recognized for their roles in Hormel’s continuous improvement process throughout the year.

As one of the few suppliers to receive this prestigious honor, Bemis was selected based on demonstrating continuous innovation; providing a high level of service to meet stringent package performance requirements; achieving on-time deliveries and rush orders; and providing high-level technical, R&D and administrative support.

“The Hormel Foods Spirit of Excellence Award program recognizes the suppliers that truly go above and beyond in helping us achieve our goals,” says Tyler L. Hulsebus, director of purchasing at Hormel Foods. “We’re honored to partner with these outstanding suppliers.”

Officials from Hormel Foods traveled to Menasha, Wisconsin on Tuesday, May 13 to officially present the award to Jim Ransom, president of Bemis North America.
