Two-step smoothie ready for blender

A fruit smoothie from Del Monte Foods comes with components packaged separately. Ready-to-Blend Fruit Smoothies comprise two lidded plastic tubs, the bottom one with chunks of fruit, the smaller top one with fruit puree. The consumer combines both in a blender and adds ice cubes. The tubs are unitized top-to-top by a shrink-sleeve label. The format allows Del Monte to combine complementary flavors, like pineapple chunks with mango puree or peach chunks with strawberry puree. The label, designed by CBX, clarifies the blending process both verbally (“add ice & blend!”) and graphically, by showing fruit pieces and ice cubes tumbling into a blender.
